At a glance
Trakeep keeps as much of your work on your device as it can. When you sign in and use a cloud workspace, your tracks, notes, voice recordings, and files sync through Supabase so you have them on every device. Local and Free workspaces stay primarily on this device. Your creative work is never used to train AI.
Your creative work is yours
Your lyrics, notes, voice recordings, uploaded audio, and cover art belong to you. We do not read, listen to, scan, transcribe, or feed your creative content into AI training, ours or anyone else's. We process this data only to make Trakeep work — store it, sync it, play it back, and show it to you.
Account
Your email address, user ID, sign-in provider, and the username or profile name you set in Trakeep. Authentication runs through Supabase. We use this to keep your workspace available across devices and let you sign back in.
Tracks and saved links
The tracks you save — titles, source links, tags, and any metadata Trakeep imports from each link. Source links can come from supported services like YouTube, BeatStars, and SoundCloud, or from files you upload yourself. In cloud-synced workspaces this syncs through Supabase. In local-only workspaces it stays on this device.
Lyrics and text notes
The lyrics, notes, and writing entries you attach to a track or save as standalone notes. In cloud-synced workspaces your text syncs through Supabase. In local-only workspaces it stays on this device. We never read, scan, or use your lyrics or notes to train AI.
Flow notes
The voice memos you record as flow notes. In cloud-synced workspaces the audio is stored in Supabase storage. In local-only workspaces it stays on this device. We never transcribe, analyse, or use your voice recordings to train AI.
Uploaded files and cover art
Audio files you upload as tracks and the cover images you add to tracks or playlists. In cloud-synced workspaces these are stored in Supabase storage. In local-only workspaces they stay on this device.
Link metadata
When you save a link from a supported service — for example YouTube, BeatStars, or SoundCloud — Trakeep requests basic metadata such as title, thumbnail, provider name, and embed details, so the saved track has context. Embedded players and audio load from those services directly, which means they receive requests from your device under their own privacy policies.
Payments and subscriptions
If you upgrade to a paid plan, your subscription status and entitlement are handled by RevenueCat working with the App Store or Google Play. Trakeep never sees or stores your card or payment details — those stay with Apple or Google. We use the subscription status to unlock your plan's features.
Analytics and diagnostics
With your consent, Trakeep can record anonymous usage events — for example, which screens are opened or whether saving a track failed — to help fix bugs and improve the app. Analytics is off by default. You can turn it on or off any time in Settings. Your lyrics, notes, voice recordings, and saved tracks are never sent to analytics.
On this device
Your local-only workspace data, cached audio and artwork for faster playback, and your app preferences are stored on this device. You can clear cached media from Settings without deleting your tracks. Removing the app removes the rest from this device.
Who else can see your data
Trakeep uses a small set of trusted services to make the app work.
