Terms

At a glance

Trakeep is an organising tool for music creators. You keep ownership of what you make. You're responsible for the rights to what you upload or save. Paid plans renew automatically unless you cancel them in the App Store or Google Play. Below is the plain-language summary — the full Terms of Use is linked at the bottom.

Your work is yours

You keep ownership of the lyrics, notes, voice recordings, audio files, and cover art you create or upload in Trakeep. You give us only the limited permission we need to actually run the app — store your work, sync it between your devices, play it back, and show it to you. We don't claim ownership, we don't sell your work, and we don't use it to train AI.

Using Trakeep

You can use Trakeep without an account in local mode. To sync across devices or use paid features, you'll need to sign in. Keep your sign-in details safe — you're responsible for what happens through your account. If you sign in through Google or another provider, that provider's terms also apply to how you sign in. You may use Trakeep on behalf of a company, label, or team if you have authority to do so.

Local mode and cloud sync

In local mode, your work lives on the device you're using and isn't backed up by us. Once you sign in and enable a cloud workspace, the tracks, notes, voice recordings, and files in that workspace sync through Supabase so you can reach them from any device. The Privacy page covers what's stored where in detail.

What you save and upload

You're responsible for the rights to anything you upload or save in Trakeep. If you upload a beat or audio file, you should have the right to use it. If you save a link from a service like YouTube, BeatStars, or SoundCloud, your use of that content is governed by that service's rules. Trakeep is a tool for organising what you legitimately have access to — it doesn't grant you rights to play, distribute, or release third-party music.

Third-party links and embeds

Trakeep saves links and plays embedded media from services like YouTube, BeatStars, SoundCloud, and others. Those services are run by other companies and can change at any time. If a video is removed, an embed breaks, or a service changes its rules, that's outside our control. The privacy practices and terms of those services apply when you use them through Trakeep.

Storage and plan changes

Each plan includes a storage and feature allowance. If you go over your plan's storage, new uploads or syncs may pause until you free up space or change plans. Plans, features, and storage limits can change as Trakeep evolves. If a change reduces what's available on your current plan, we'll let you know with reasonable notice.

Service availability

We work hard to keep Trakeep running, but we can't guarantee it will always be available, error-free, or fully synced. Updates, maintenance, infrastructure issues, or third-party outages can interrupt access. We recommend keeping your own backups of work that matters to you. Trakeep is provided "as is." To the extent allowed by law, we won't be liable for indirect or consequential losses from app issues or data loss. Full disclaimers are in the Terms of Use.

Subscriptions and payments

Trakeep offers free use with limits and paid plans with more features. Paid plans are managed through the App Store on iOS or Google Play on Android, with subscription handling by RevenueCat. The price, length, and features of each plan are shown before you confirm a purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period at the price shown at purchase, unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends. To cancel or change a plan, open your subscription settings in the App Store or Google Play — Trakeep can't cancel a subscription on your behalf. Trakeep doesn't see or store your payment details. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google according to their policies.

Things you can't do

To keep Trakeep useful and safe, please don't:

  • Upload or save content that infringes someone else's copyright, trademark, privacy, or other rights.
  • Use Trakeep to harass, deceive, impersonate, or harm others.
  • Break into, scrape, overload, reverse engineer, or interfere with Trakeep or the services it connects to.
  • Upload malicious code, malware, or files designed to damage devices or services.

Account deletion

You can stop using Trakeep at any time. To delete your account and the cloud data tied to it, open Settings and tap Delete account in the danger zone — we handle deletion requests by email for now and will remove your data within 30 days of confirming your request. Local data on this device can be removed by clearing cached media in Settings or by uninstalling the app. We can also suspend or end access to Trakeep if these Terms are seriously broken or if it's needed to keep the service safe for everyone.

Changes to these terms

If we change these Terms, we'll update this page and the date below. Meaningful changes will be flagged in the app or by email where reasonable. If you keep using Trakeep after updates, you agree to the new Terms. If you don't agree, please stop using the app. Last updated: May 2026.
